org TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The position of Technical Administrator is a computer-based, graphic-arts and technical position that requires skills in various software applications such as Word, Publisher, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Pro-Presenter, video editing software, etc.
as well as knowledge of computer/video/sound hardware set-up and operation.
The position requires knowledge of web design and development as well as creative integration of data from various programs into one presentation.
Skills in both Windows and Mac systems needed.
Specific duties include:
Posting daily/weekly on the church Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts Video Streaming of our Saturday evening (seasonal) & Sunday morning worship, archiving and uploading on Web Site Web Site Development, updating & maintenance Creation of announcement slide loops before each service and to be used in various weekly ministries.
Creation of slides for the weekly worship service & all special services in ProPresenter Create and send out mass emails; weekly for bulletin notifications and as needed for other MLC announcements Creation of print ads for newspaper, flyers, posters, etc.
The set-up and control of video cameras, sound equipment, and associated computers so can integrate with software used for a seamless recording/ performance Hours:
20 hours per week/ hourly may include Friday mornings, Saturday evening (seasonal for worship), Sunday morning worship services (every week), seasonal midweek evening services, and special holidays Including Easter morning, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as needed for video streaming and AV sound-booth operation.
The balance of the 20 hours can be scheduled during office hours Mon-Fri.
Work attire is business/business casual.
This position is on Marco Island and the majority of work hours are required to be on-site at Marco Lutheran Church.
