Quick Apply Full-time 3 days ago Full Job Description Residential Painting Operations Manager We are an established painting business with systems in place and a steady supply of work looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee daily operations of painting crews.
We currently have 3 crews and future jobs booked with a desire to grow the business.
You can count on an attractive base salary plus profit share.
Self-motivation, detail oriented, and great time management is paramount, as you're given independence on how to structure days.
Ultimately, you should ensure that all projects meet quality standards, within budget and on time.
Bilingual Spanish & English Required.
Responsibilities:
Work closely & communicate effectively with owners, estimators, and office staff Maintain relationships with recurring customers Schedule all jobs and crews using Jobber software Understand scope of work and stick to to it Create, implement and track change orders 2x daily site visits to oversee the quality of work performed and check with crews on needed materials Order, pickup and deliver needed materials to job sites Minimize crew downtime to get jobs done on time and on budget Always have eyes open for opportunities, from new ways to attract new clients to finding additional work crews, to improving procedures and more Communicate effectively with owners, bookkeeper, and marketing team Maintain accurate and comprehensive timesheets of crews Track material usage Schedule and manage maintenance of fleet of vehicles and painting equipment Coach and train new painters and & paint with crews during downtime Assist in recruiting new painting crews and painters Maintain a safe job site and ensure painters are following safety guidelines Success Outcomes (how to know if you are successful at job) Keeping labor & material costs within certain parameters based on job cost Meeting job completion deadlines Minimize time and cost on punch out items Job Requirements:
Bilingual Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented Positive Attitude Professional appearance and personality Team player who can work independently 2 years experience in construction management 3 years painting experience Jobber software experience a plus Computer skills related to email, Google Docs, Quickbooks knowledge a plus! Valid driver's license and clean driving record Job Type:
